At Jydsk Miljø Rengøring, more than 410 colleagues clean for companies, schools, institutions, care homes and hotels from Skagen to Bornholm. You always belong to a permanent department with your own manager, and you know who to call.

Cleaning is a profession. That is why everyone starts with 3–5 days of training together with a service manager, and we pay for the courses and certifications you need for the job. You are employed under the Danish collective agreement for service work between Danish Industry (DI) and the union 3F, and you get a pension with PensionDanmark and access to a health scheme.

What a normal day looks like

You work at a fixed place according to a fixed work plan. At each customer there is a site folder with the plan, floor plan, colour codes and product sheets, so you always know what needs to be done and which products to use. If you are unsure, you call your manager, who knows the place.

You can work full-time from 30 hours a week or part-time under 30 hours. Either way, you have a fixed workplace and a fixed work plan, so you can plan your life outside work.

Who fits in with us?

Everyone starts with training, so you learn how we clean at that particular customer. The most important thing is that you are on time, take responsibility for your area and want to be part of a team. As a minimum, you must be able to communicate in Danish or English, both written and spoken, unless the customer requires something else.

We also work with Danish municipalities and job centres on flexjobs (subsidised jobs for people with reduced working capacity), work placements and mentoring.

We have offices in Horsens, Herning and Silkeborg. We are always looking for more people who want to be part of a permanent team.
